2. Personal Data We Process
Depending on the service and channel you use, we may process the following data:
• Identity data: name, surname, date of birth, Turkish identity number or passport details.
• Contact data: telephone number, email address and postal address.
• Driving and rental data: driving licence information, reservation and rental records, delivery and return information, motorcycle and licence plate details, usage, mileage, fuel/charge status, damage, accident, fine and toll records.
• Financial and transaction data: invoice, payment, deposit/pre-authorisation and collection information. We do not retain card security codes; card transactions are handled through authorised payment institutions and banks.
• Transaction security data: IP address, date and time, session and system logs.
• Images, location and incident records: delivery/return photographs or videos, vehicle tracking and location data, and accident/damage documents, only to the extent necessary for the service, security and dispute management.
• Request and communication records: support requests, complaints and customer service correspondence.
As a rule, we do not request special categories of personal data. Data concerning health, criminal convictions or other special categories is processed only where it is necessary in a specific case, proportionate and supported by a lawful processing condition.
3. Purposes of Processing
We may process your personal data to:
• receive reservations, verify identity and driving eligibility, and establish and perform the rental agreement;
• manage motorcycle delivery and return, maintenance, roadside assistance, damage, accident, insurance and protection processes;
• carry out payment, deposit, invoicing, accounting, toll and traffic fine processes;
• prevent fraud, maintain service and vehicle security, and protect information systems;
• respond to customer requests, manage disputes and establish, exercise or protect legal rights;
• comply with legal obligations and respond to competent public authorities; and
• send campaigns or commercial electronic communications only where the necessary permissions have been obtained.
4. Legal Grounds and Collection Methods
Your data may be collected by automated or non-automated means through our website, reservation and rental systems, telephone, email, physical forms, delivery/return records, payment providers, competent authorities and vehicle security/tracking systems.
Processing is based on the legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and, where applicable, 6 of Law No. 6698, including processing expressly provided for by law, necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with the controller's legal obligations, establishment/exercise/protection of a right, and legitimate interests provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Explicit consent is obtained only for separate activities for which consent is legally required. Acknowledging this notice does not, by itself, constitute explicit consent.
5. Recipients of Personal Data
To the extent connected with and necessary for the relevant purpose, your data may be shared with:
• banks, payment and electronic money institutions;
• insurers, loss adjusters, repair services, towing and roadside assistance providers;
• accounting, legal, IT, hosting, email, reservation software and technical support providers; and
• competent public authorities and judicial or administrative bodies.
Service providers may process data only under our instructions and their contractual obligations.
Where an international transfer occurs, the conditions and appropriate safeguards under Article 9 of Law No. 6698 are applied. Standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism is used where required.
6. Retention and Disposal
Personal data is retained for the period necessary for the processing purpose and for applicable statutory retention and limitation periods relating to tax, accounting, contracts, insurance and traffic matters. When those periods expire and no other legal ground remains, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Retention periods for each data category are defined separately in the data inventory and retention/disposal plan.
7. Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies may be used to ensure the secure and proper operation of the website. Analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies are not activated before your preference is obtained where consent is required. You may change your cookie choices through the cookie management area on the website.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, password and session security, logging, backups, updates, staff confidentiality and service-provider controls, to prevent unauthorised access, unlawful processing and data loss.
9. Your Rights
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; learn the third parties to whom it is transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met; request notification of correction/deletion measures to recipients; object to a result produced exclusively through automated analysis that is against you; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
10. How to Apply
You may submit a request, together with information and documents sufficient to verify your identity:

• to info@motohello.com using an electronic method recognised by applicable legislation.
Applications are answered as soon as possible and no later than 30 days, depending on their nature. Your request should include your name and surname, signature for written applications, Turkish identity number or passport/identity number for non-Turkish nationals, notification or email address, telephone number if available, and the subject of your request.
11. Amendments
We may update this notice when our processing activities or applicable law changes. The current version and its effective date are published on this page.
